The Tremonton, Utah community is mourning the loss of Christopher Leo Davidson, who passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 28. His obituary lovingly notes that he was “called home to go fishin’,” reflecting his deep passion for the outdoors. The cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.
Chris was born on January 4, 1996, in Logan, Utah, to Darren and Tammy Davidson. On September 26, 2019, he married Megan Lynn Schoenfeld in Huntsville, Utah, and together they built a life filled with love and shared adventures.
He graduated from Clearfield High School in 2014 and later attended Weber Tech. Professionally, Chris worked as a plumber, showcasing his skills at Kbell Plumbing and later Mike Bachman Plumbing from 2019 until his passing in 2024.
Chris’s life was defined by his passions and community involvement. He was an Eagle Scout, loved fishing, monster trucks, and celebrating the 4th of July with fireworks in the cul-de-sac. He was also active in FFA and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife Megan, parents Darren and Tammy, siblings Kim Call, Desiree Green, and Jesse Goode, along with 15 nieces and nephews, and grandparents Thomas and Karen Huffman. He was preceded in death by Bear Paw.
Funeral services were held on July 17, 2024, at Rudd Funeral Home in Tremonton, with viewings on July 16 and prior to the service. His final resting place is at Riverview Cemetery. Special recognition was extended to Cameron and Colton Thiel for their enduring friendship, as well as the Tremonton-Garland Police and Fire Department.
Chris Davidson will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving son, and loyal friend whose joy for life and passion for fishing brought happiness to those around him. His legacy of kindness, humor, and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew him. 🕊️
